Earth is at war with rebelling miner colonists in the Asteroid Belt. The War has lasted more than 100 years.
Roxanne Marin (Roxy), an Exotic Dancer from Florida is arrested for obscene performances and is sentenced to a Penal space-station in the belt. She chooses to disarm high-explosive Mines and avoid suicidal front-line duty.
While disarming a mine she is contacted by an old man, a scientist, who had joined the rebels, the Frontiersmen at the start of the war. He asks Roxy to undertake a mission for him; retrieving a seemingly useless piece of metal from the base. Knowing the Base Commander to be a sadist she is reluctant but agrees. She is captured, escapes and seeks the nearest Frontiersmen base for safety. She finds the base and is welcomed, invited to join an attack on her former base, she becomes a space-warrior learning to fire the weapon of choice, a Striker. She is equipped with a new space-suit and is despatched to a new planet fighting against an earther ship on the way. Will Roxy find a new life with the Frontiers people; will she find someone to share it with?

I very much like the story so far but at 76% into the story there are 5 bad pages. They all have some small font that a magnifying glass does not make readable. And it will not adjust the font on these pages. Pages 3 and 5 are negative images.Product details
