The Look For Less - Palazzo Pant Edition

Comfort is key.
That does not imply that style should EVER take a back seat to coziness, however. Palazzo pants have seemed to nail the fine art of being fashionably comfortable, so I've obviously been itching to get into a pair.
Numerous designers have been tackling this pant in an array of colors, textures and fabrics. Most of which were priced much too high for my tight budget.(One of my own cardinal rules is to never to shell out big bucks for a trendy piece. No matter how gorgeous, it is just not worth it!)
I fell in love with these Elizabeth and James silk crepe palazzo pants. Even on sale, though, the $241 price tag was not realistic for this intern.

Without being too discouraged, I vowed to keep on the look out for a more suitable pair of palazzo pants to add to my wardrobe. When shopping for apartment accessories at a Beall's Outlet department store with my mother, I found myself curiously browsing through the petite women's pant section. A fabulous print caught my eye, and sure enough I found my very own pair of perfect palazzo pants. (At a highly discounted $12!) It just goes to show, you cannot judge a pant by its brand.

Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses, necklace by Urban Outfitters, top by Cotton On, Beall's Outlet palazzo pants,
Thursday Friday "Together Bag", wedges by Kenneth Cole and bracelets made by me.
